Good times, Bad times!

 

Once a quarter anyone who works in radio (in the UK) gets a little nervous as the latest set of audience figures gets published.

So last Thursday was the day. In the past my shows have performed well. This time they haven't. It's a bit of a blow and one that's hard not to take personally.

The only redeeming feature in the stats is the fact this was an unexpected drop without any previous tell tale warning signs. As the boss said, we need to look for trends, if they are as bad in three months and then six months then is the time to panic!

So Ive had the good times and now is the difficult bit.

Fingers crossed.
