Numb fingers

 

We're in the middle of a cold snap. The country is looking very pretty all iced up.

Once again Christmas has proved to be a time of light and shade. A fantastic New Years evening at Nico's followed by a lovely chilled out evening with Gareth. Then a lovely day with the family yesterday.

This contrasts with visits to see my Grandad who was rushed in to hospital on Saturday and my current journey to see a friend on the coast who is having marital trouble!

Christmas never seems to come off completely unscathed. It is probably true of most of the year, but I suppose we just pay more attention and have a higher expectation at Christmas.

Still, it's looking very pretty.
