As expected, it turned in to a mad day.
I got the expected call at 0345hrs so suited up with my expedition gear and trudged my way through 20cm deep snow to present the early show.
There is something very special about being a radio presenter on a Snow Day, there is no need to plan much as things change so fast. I've never tried to ride a panicking horse but I imagine it to be similar. Constantly trying to keep on top of things and steer it in the right direction.
It's tiring work but the adrenalin keeps you going, which was just as well since I ended up doing two shows!
By the time I headed home, the people of Summertown had been building some interesting Snowmen!

This monster was also put up outside The Wine Cafe.
