That Christmas Feeling

I'm just on my way home from a visit to The Smoke and to see Gareth for a pre Chrumble pint (or, as usual four!).

For once the Christmas lights on Regent Street and Oxford Street started to get me in the mood. Even the cheesy Carnaby St lights added to the feel.

It's surprising it's taken that long really. Especially since I hosted the bloomin carol service last week!

I've even started the hunt for my Christmas deccies. I know where the baubles and lights are, but was stumped on the tree front! It wasn't till i asked my father if he'd seen it (it's a 'bog brush' - fake) to hear him very timidly announce:
"your Mothers put it up in her class room at school!"

Bugger, how frustrating is that. I can't be angry and ask for it back as that would be putting me in the same camp as pre ghostly visit Scrooge!

I guess I'll just have to be creative with the baubles!
