I'm busy trying to sort out things for Christmas as usual. It's a week to go and I'm behind (as usual) with only a couple of presents purchased. At least most of my cards have gone. Work is getting in the way a little, as preperations for Christmas Programmes come together, most exciting is the fact that Vicky and I are going to be heading to Geneva on Saturday to spend two days recording bits for one of my Christmas shows.
It is really exciting, we'll be on the first international flight from London Oxford airport. Fly Baboo is a small boutique airline based in Geneva, but they are taking a real punt flying here. I wonder if it will work? A link to Jersey was pretty successful last summer and the airport is seeking a link to Edinburgh or Amsterdam, but it can never do much more than that as it is just far to small. I think that's a good thing, as it will keeps it's charm that way.
In a moment of serendipity, that Christmassy feel I was looking forward to Geneva providing, is actually coming here with 10cm snow due later!
Snow boots and travel chaos here we go!
