Geneva

 

Occasionally at work I get to do something different and out of my comfort zone. My producer Vicky managed to get us on the first flight from Oxford Airport. So yesterday we packed our bags and headed to the terminal normally used for private jets. So the experience was a good one.

Fly Baboo is a small Swiss Airline opperating to some interesting destinations around Europe, but interestingly this is a real punt for them. Will the population of Oxfordshire actually use this service? I wonder how much the tourist organisations in Oxford will try and use it to draw people in from Switzerland. Only time will tell.

Vicky and I have used this opportunity to look into the links between Oxford and Geneva. It turns out there are quite a few.
