The Vegetable Patch!

I had a mad moment!

For some reason I was inspired to start trying to grow my own vegetables!

Fool!

I know nothing about growing stuff. Hense, why after a moment of excitement in early April, I bought some grow bags. Then a week later in a fit of green fingeredness I bought some tomato plants and some strawberries!

So I'm going to chart their progress here in my tedium.

To bring you up to date. The tomato plants spent a few weeks on the kitchen window sill... but eventually out grew the shelf. I had to move them to the grow bags. Of course this is not so wise since I don't own a cloche or greenhouse.

I have since created a heath robinson device for protecting them. The next time it gets used, I'll take a pic.
