Tomatoes...

 

I've gone all green fingered. It probably wont last.

In a fit of madness, I've decided to grow some fruit and veg. So now I have six tomato plants, three strawberry plants and some carrots.

They are all doomed of course! First mistake was to buy the tomato plants way to early. They were fine on the kitchen shelf until recently. On Sunday they finally out grew that location, so I have had to put them outside! Eek!

So with a bit of work I've created a bit of a Heath Robinson cloche to keep the frost off them. If it works, it will be a miracle!

I'll pop some pics here to show the progress.

I really am approaching middle age!
