Night sky in november

I got back from seeing Casino Royal with a group of friends... and the sky was so stunning I stupidly thought I'd go and spend a few minutes taking pictures.

I've never done shots of stars before, so it was all very hit and miss, especially when the clouds started to roll in. Some of the pics I rather like!

One thing I have never really taken on board, well not and actually had my own evidense to prove it - is the speed of the Earths rotation!

I know its daft, but I've never looked at it on a second by second basis. Have a look at some of my pics on he flickr account.. Any time lapse picture I took over 20 seconds long and the movement of the stars (well technically the Earth!) becomes reall obvious!

I had to look up online the constellation visable, but most shots took in Orion and its belt.
