Guy Fawkes Night

Its my favourite night of the year. Lots of Fireworks going off, some great local displays.

This year I managed to get to both the Blackheath Fireworks and the Kidlington display. Both were great but on a very different scale.

As usual there were tens of thousands out on Blackheath, with the usual problem of getting a good vantage point. This year as we were a little late we ended up the far side of the heath. It was still very impressive though.

Kiddlington was much smaller, only a couple of thousand people, but still a great display with the added bonus of fire throwing Morris Dancers! A bit more exciting than your typical hankies and sticks!

I can't wait till next year now!
