Vindicated

 

Several months ago a bendy bus - which are new on the streets of London - burst in to flames outside Marble Arch tube station.

At the time I ranted on about how if that had been a train the whole rail network would have been stopped until the reason why had been sorted out. The 200 odd busses kept running though.

Last Saturday another one went up in flames, so now they have been withdrawn from service and are being checked. A bit of a 'mare for me, as I use one to get home! Now I don't want to say "I told you so..." But...
