Ch ch ch...

 

...changes.

I havn't posted in a while... not really been inspired to. But things are changing.

Last week got exciting when I was offered a new job at BBC Radio Oxford.

I was wandering around Sainsbury's at the time and it came as a bit of a surprise. I had entered the supermarket as a man on a mission, since I hate shopping I find it easier to get in - get out as quickly as possible. All was fine until I got to the meat section when I received a call.

Lou, one of the bosses at BBC Oxford called my mobile and asked if I could do a conference call. I had been expecting a buzz, but not what came next. "Phil, we would like you to present the Afternoon Show!"

To say I was stunned is a bit of an understatement.

After the job offer had arrived I wandered the aisles of Sainsbury's for ages - completely dazed and confused. I don't really remember what happened. I know I called my Mum (well who wouldn't) and a couple of mates. Looking through my shopping since, I can tell I wasn't really with it. I managed to buy crisps and potatoe waffles, napkins, an avacado, and twenty cartons of orange juice. And a bottle of Gin.
