Once again the whole country is on standby for disaster.

The Met Office have warned us that we are due for a cold snap. If you read the papers last week, we should be expecting a drop in temperature to minus 15c.

After plumbing through the depths of the Met website it turns out that it will be that cold. That is if you go for a walk along the Cairgorn Mountains.

However it is going to be cold. Around about freezing here. Which is nothing really. If it does happen, it'll still going to be nightmare - as we Brits are incapable of coping with any weather condition that isn't mild, cloudy with drizzle!
