My journey to work involves the DLR. A wonder of modern technology, its a light railway that has no drivers.

It does, however, have a Passenger Service Agent who checks tickets and closes the doors.

My trip every morning takes 25 minutes, twenty of which I snooze. This is very important as I need as much beauty sleep as is possibly available!

This morning, my routine was disrupted by an over eager PSA.

Every single stop, he insisted on announcing the name of the next station, or what the connections were, what weekend engineering work to expect and the weather in Tahiti!

The fact that I recognised every person on the coach points out that we all new where we were going and what changes to make!

Getting disturbed from my nap every three minutes was bad enough.

When he started to whistle though...
