This week is already off to an interesting start.

Ricky Gervais has won two Golden Globes for the series The Office. Not a bad acheivment for a programme which I think is very British and possibly not to appealing to an American sense of humour. This is good news for Gervais, presumably and even better news for BBC America, who are a cable channel with only a small viewership.
